Pastor Albert Shitakwa is an ordained minister of the Gospel and a seasoned and anointed Bible teacher. He is the Senior Pastor of The Green Pastures Tabernacle City Centre, located in the heart of the Capital City – Nairobi, Kenya. This is a branch of the Green Pastures Tabernacle Church founded by Rev. Stanley Mwalili who is the General overseer.

Albert’s ministry spans for a period of over 20 years. He has served as a pastor for the last 13 years and was released to plant the City Centre Church more than 10 years ago. The Church has since grown and today he leads a congregation of over 200 members. His passion and desire is to bring saints to their maturity in Christ through the teaching of the uncompromising and unadulterated biblical truth. His depth in the word and his practical, relevant, yet simple approach to ministry has endeared him to many. He is also a leadership trainer and motivational speaker; leadership development forms part of the core values of his ministry. He has trained many leaders in different forums both in the corporate world and the Church.

He now runs a weekly TV program in Kenya on Family TV, which has been such a blessing to many across the nation. He occasionally features on some local radio stations such as Hope FM, Citizen Radio, and Truth FM. He is a sort out speaker in conferences, corporate functions, leadership seminars, universities, colleges and churches in Kenya and abroad.

He is married to Mary Shitakwa for more than 20 years and together they are blessed with two children; Samuel and Emmanuel. Pastor Mary, apart from serving in the ministry, works as an accountant at Kenya Agricultural Research Institute.
