The intercessory group is a team of dedicated brethren who come together to engage in prayers for the sake of families, the Church and the nation. It is an open entry group since every born again individual takes an active role in intercession.

The ministry started with a group of brothers and sisters meeting on a Sunday morning and praying together before the service began. This would be followed by a warm fellowship which necessitated the formation of the group.

The vision of this group is to see a praying Church that is vibrant and thirsty for God; a church that is given to prayer and fasting for the sake of upholding the God’s Kingdom agenda and imitating our author, Jesus Christ. The group has been of great significance especially when standing in the gap for loved ones going through trials. This group is also imperative to constantly commit the pastor and the church leadership in prayers.

We hold a meeting every first Sunday of the month to evaluate our progress and strategize on the way forward. We also meet every Friday at 6.00pm in the church office, which is located at Revlon Plaza along Biashara Street, for an hour of prayer. We engage in prayer retreats, visit the sick in hospitals and homes, conduct chain prayers within the group, organize and lead church overnight prayer meetings (keshas) and plan prayer and fasting weeks for the GPT City Centre church
